It consists of six units: the Institute of English Studies, the Institute of Romance Studies, the Institute of Slavic Studies, the Institute of Classical, Mediterranean and Oriental Studies, the Erasmus Chair of Dutch Studies, and the Department of Jewish Studies.
Our Faculty offers 16 bachelor’s degree courses and 8 master’s degree courses, with a total of over 2,000 students. Every year, over 600 people start studies.
We employ over 200 academic teachers, mainly in linguistics and literary studies, but also in history, social communication and media studies. Our staff also includes many practitioners in the fields of teaching foreign languages, translation and SLA.
