Wykład Pietera Vermeulena o literaturze i antropocenie

W poniedziałek, 20 października, w Auli im. prof. Jerzego Woronczaka w Katedrze Judaistyki (s. 115) o godz. 12:00 odbędzie się wykład znakomitego belgijskiego literaturoznawcy, prof. Pietera Vermeulena z KU Leuven. Tytuł prelekcji to „The Anthropocene: A Literary Career”.

Pieter Vermeulen jest profesorem nadzwyczajnym literatury amerykańskiej i porównawczej w KU Leuven. Autor ponad 90 publikacji naukowych, w tym trzech monografii: Geoffrey Hartman: Romanticism after the Holocaust (Continuum, 2012), Contemporary Literature and the End of the Novel: Creature, Affect, Form (Palgrave Macmillan, 2015) i Literature and the Anthropocene (Routledge, 2020).
